CHATS stands for Companionship, Help and Access by Telephone for Seniors.  The CHATS Program helps to increase social connectedness and support for adults age 55+.  CHATS program matches seniors with trainedvolunteer callers who "chat" and check in on them by phone at least once a week.

The Volunteer Team Leader spearheads a group of 4 other volunteer callers and monitors the call activity of the team.  The Leaders also conduct phone interviews with aparticipants prior to the program enrollment and assist with matching participants with volunteers.
