Campaign and Program Associate
Reports to

Position Summary:
The Campaign and Program Associate is a full-time, non-exempt position, reporting to the Executive Director. This position will be responsible for coordinating volunteer solicitation efforts, participating in annual campaign events and activities, and supporting the Director of Arts, Culture, and Marketing.
Responsibilities:
· Cultivate, steward, and build effective relationships with a portfolio of donors.
· Implement strategies to attract new donors at all levels.
· Develop fundraising goals and meet objectives with measurable outcomes in support of the Federation’s mission.
· Together with the Executive Director and lay leadership, responsible for promoting, supporting, and furthering the Federation’s mission-driven initiatives by partnering with local organizations, community partners, industry professionals, and volunteers regularly to identify and implement innovative and collaborative efforts.
Tasks:
· Oversee all campaign events – including recruiting committee members, develop concepts and themes for invitations and collateral materials. Work with the Director of Arts, Culture, and Marketing to create a consistent message.
· Manage direct mail campaigns – implementing proven strategies to attract readers
· Manage affinity groups – recruiting new members and leadership.
· Support marketing and branding initiatives – work with Director of Arts, Culture, and Marketing on ads for the Jewish Press, website updates, and e-newsletter content.
· Other assignments as deemed by the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
· Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
· Understanding of the complexity of the volunteer/professional relationship and success in managing those relationships professionally and effectively.
· Ability to interact comfortably with a wide range of constituents while using an entrepreneurial skillset to identify and engage individuals in the Jewish community.
· Commitment to Jewish values.
· Passionate and knowledgeable about the Jewish community and the Federation system, with a keen understanding of the Jewish people and the needs and welfare of Jews locally, in Israel, and around the world.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years of development/fundraising or related experience. Special Qualifications (Skills, Abilities, License):
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Team player with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively, based on the situation, in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
· Strong skills with Microsoft Office and Raiser’s Edge
