It's Not Easy to be Green

Let’s have a virtual “green” dinner together with items such as split pea soup or broccoli soup, salad with green peppers and grapes, and green Jell-O for dessert.  Join us as we discuss the importance of recycling to save our planet and what we can do to make changes that will affect future generations. 

Guest  speaker is Joseph Vitale from St. Petersburg Recycling Center.   He has many  years of experience on material recovery, energy from waste, landfills and recycling. Discussion will include making the recycling system more efficient with waste reduction and strengthening the economic markets for recycled materials.
