In a recent poll of global talent professionals, 91% agreed that the presence of soft skills – in résumés, covers letters, and in responses to interview questions – are especially important. Hard skills alone – such as analytical reasoning and technical proficiency – continue to be essential but are no longer sufficient by themselves for individual and company success. What is also required are soft skills, such as creativity, adaptability, and collaboration – skills that will always be valuable – and valued.
