The day will culminate with a memorial service at 5:30 p.m. followed by a special Holocaust Survivor talk. Short memorial services and Survivor talks will also take place at 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm.

As valued members of our community, we invite the public to participate in an annual Names Reading Commemoration. From 10 am – 5 pm, members of our communities will read aloud names of Holocaust victims in 5-minute intervals.

To reserve your reading time, please select a specific one of the available time slots on this page:

Additionally, all Museum visitors on Yom HaShoah will receive a special daffodil sticker, designed by Izabela Gabrielson.

The shape and color of the daffodils represent the Yellow stars that Jews were forced to wear during the Holocaust. Yellow is the color of remembrance. Daffodils represent our poignant hope for the future. They are resilient and return with a burst of color each Spring, signifying hope, renewal and beauty. The daffodils also honor those who survived the Holocaust and went on to build new lives after this dark and difficult period. For additional information about the artist, Izabela Gabrielson, please visit
