Sophal Leng Stagg was nine years old when she and her family were forced to leave their home in Phnom Penh in April of 1975, joining the multitude of Cambodians who were dragged through hell by the brutal regime of the Khmer Rouge.
Sophal will speak about her experiences during the genocide in Cambodia and about her and her husband, Bill Stagg’s, post-genocide efforts to deliver help to impoverished Cambodians.
