Since the 1960s, anti-discrimination laws have helped to ensure fair interviewing and selection processes. Yet, even today, many interviewers ask questions that are not job-related, and may be illegal, irrelevant, silly, or even insulting. What exactly are illegal questions? Which are discriminatory? How do you respond to questions that you believe to be improper? Guest speaker Mary Greenwood is an employment lawyer, as well as a former human resources director and recruiter, and the author of “How to Interview Like a Pro.” In this informative and thought-provoking program, Mary will provide the answers to important questions involving interviewing and the law.
