The Pinellas County Interfaith Environmental Coalition, which includes the Jewish Federation of Florida’s Gulf Coast and Congregation Beth Shalom, will be hosting an “Earth Day Prayer Service and Call to Action.” Save the Date: Sunday, April 24th at 2PM. The event will be hosted by Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2001 Rainbow Dr, Clearwater, FL 33765. More details to come at JewishGulfCoast.org/EARTHDAY

 

The keynote speaker will be Reverend Dr.Neddy Astudillo, director of Greenfaith. Greenfaith is a organization dedicated to building a worldwide, multi-faith climate and environmental movement.

 

Other speakers include Pastor Andrew Walton, Trinity Presbyterian Church; Stuart Berger, Jewish Federation of Florida’s Gulf Coast; Reverend Doctor Leddy Hammock, Unity of Clearwater; Rabbis Danielle Upbin and David Weizman, Congregation Beth Shalom; Brian Beckman, Sierra Club, and Pastor David Shelor, First Presbyterian of Dunedin.

 

There will also be tables with information on environmental issues outside the sanctuary, as well as an EV car display in the parking lot.
