In recognition of breast cancer awareness month, Evolve Hadassah: The Next Generation, hosts an online program: Paint Pink: Art Therapy as Resilience Tool. Artist and art therapist Leah Guzman discusses the many therapeutic benefits of art therapy while conducting a simple hands-on project.
No artistic skills required. This program helps you examine how you face personal challenges and the changes you can make to relax, focus, and heal - through your personal art.
ALSO Dr. Shani Paluch-Shimon, medical oncologist and director of Breast Oncology at Hadassah Medical Organization, discusses a dedicated service at Hadassah Hospital for the care and treatment of young women with breast cancer. She will update us on breast cancer research forom Hadassah Medical Organization. Her key areas of clinical interest and research are breast cancer in young women, BRCA-associated breast cancer, triple negative breast cancer and neo-adjuvant therapies.
