The Secure Community Network (SCN), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is the official homeland security and safety initiative of the organized Jewish community in North America. Through its operations center and Duty Desk, SCN provides timely, credible threat and incident information to both law enforcement and community partners, serves as the community’s formal liaison with federal law enforcement and coordinates closely with state and local law enforcement partners.
To bolster our community's safety and security readiness, the Jewish Federation of Florida's Gulf Coast and the Secure Community Network (SCN) encourage each organization in our community to sign two points of contact up for the SCN Alert system. This alert system is a communications-based platform that allows the SCN Regional Security Advisor to provide vital and timely information to organizational staff, community members, and partners for all hazards that have the potential to affect our community.
