Did you know that making connections and building relationships are as important in your job search as your résumé and LinkedIn profile? Statistics indicate that at least 70% of jobs are found by connecting with people in your network. So, if you want to boost your chances of getting hired, you need to expand your network. Learning how to put yourself in touch with people who can help you uncover the hidden job market and, potentially, land an interview and a new job is an essential job-search skill. Although COVID-19 might be viewed as limiting your ability to network, the good news is that now is the perfect time to connect with others in meaningful ways virtually. In this workshop, you will learn the ins and outs of purpose-driven networking and how to conduct productive informational meetings.
