Your interviewer asks you to “tell me about yourself…” Now what do you say? Your nervousness just increased because you are afraid that you may share too much or not enough information. In order to be memorable and stand out from the other candidates, it is best to communicate in an authentic, genuine and concise way. Telling and sharing stories is one of the best ways to do this but you will not have much time to share long stories in an interview. In this workshop, you will learn how to develop story tidbits about your experiences that will inform and engage your interviewers so that they want to hear more. The use of the story tidbits template will allow you easily respond to the “tell me about yourself…” request without sounding rehearsed or fake. The end result is that you may get hired because you were respected, valued, and unforgettable.
