How Holiday Networking Can Advance Your Career

Many job seekers make the mistake of putting their job search on hold during the holidays on the assumption that companies are not hiring late in the year. But the truth is just the opposite – people are interviewed and hired, even during the holiday season. Networking – developing productive business and personal relationships – accounts for 70-85% of connections that lead to landing a job. Yet, for all its benefits, there are many job seekers who are not comfortable – or who may even avoid – using networking as a job-search tool. Explore how your job search can be easier throughout the holidays and obtain tips for making the most of networking opportunities.

What is Kick-Off Monday: Kick-Off Monday is a motivational, educational, and networking program designed to help you prepare for the week ahead, sharing conversation, contacts, and job-search information in a relaxed, friendly environment.
