How can you create a positive perspective when it comes to finding work? By focusing on the value you contribute – and derive – from both work and life. During times of transition, the changes you are experiencing, the feelings of uncertainty, and the concern that you may sometimes face, can diminish an important focus: the gifts and talents that you contribute to your work and to the lives of your friends, your family, and to yourself. In this session you will identify what they are for you, how you demonstrate them to others, and recognize ways they add value to your brand, your job search, and your life.
Facilitated by Robyn Winters, TBJL Career Strategist
WHAT IS LINKS: LINKS is an acronym for Leads, Information, Networking, Know-how, and Strategies. It is an educational and motivational program designed to help candidates prepare for the week ahead and to share conversation, contacts, and job-search information in a relaxed, friendly environment. For the unemployed professional, LINKS is a “place to go” to focus on the job search when others go to work on Monday Mornings. LINKS sessions are free and open to the public.
