Marc Melamed, Director of Development, Anti-Defamation League, Florida Region, addresses the issue of anti-Semitism in the U.S. and abroad. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) was founded in 1913 "to stope the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all." Now the nation's premier civil rights/human relations agency, ADL fights anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry, defends democratic ideals, and protects civil rights for all.
Mr. Melamed is an attorney, development executive, and former financial advisor, who has made a career out of helping people and organizations meet their personal and philanthropic goals. He holds degrees from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and the University of Michigan.
