About Dr. Stacy Orloff

Dr Stacy Orloff has a longstanding history of supporting Jewish causes and philanthropy, along with a robust professional life in the social services world.  Stacy recently retired as a senior vice president at Empath Health, where she worked for 34 years.  As a licensed clinical social worker with a doctorate in organizational leadership, Stacy’s priority has always been on serving those with the greatest need.  This includes leading Empath’s partnership with a hospice in Johannesburg and Soweto, South Africa since 2007.

Stacy and her husband Bruce, along with her in-laws Jean and Sylvan Orloff, of blessed memory, are longtime donors of the TOP Jewish Foundation and the Jewish Federation of Florida’s Gulf Coast. Stacy is the immediate past president of Congregation Beth Shalom in Clearwater and remains actively involved in synagogue leadership.

Stacy has been writing professionally and personally for many many years.  She is an active member of a monthly writing circle where she continues to practice her writing craft.
