Talmud Unveiled: A Journey through Masechet Berachot

This Fall we will be starting a new Talmud class covering Berachot (blessings) the first Tractate of the Talmud. Berachot covers a wide range of topics, including: the derivation of many of our prayers and blessings, rules relating to our prayers and the methodology of praying. The Talmud has been studied continuously for over 1500 years and today is explored daily by hundreds of thousands of Jews.

The classes will be conducted in English, with no prior experience with the Talmud or knowledge of Hebrew or Aramaic necessary. Class resources will be provided. Questions and class participation are encouraged and new participants are welcome! The class will be conducted by Steve Wein, who has taught Talmud to all ages and backgrounds over the years.
