Sociable Singles and Inaugural F Troop Meeting
The Jewish Federation of Florida’s Gulf Coast is pleased to announce an exciting virtual experience for our 60+ Sociable Singles group, and introducing F Troop, our brand new group for Jewish individuals in their 40’s & 50’s. Attendees will access a private video link to the live event with 5-time James Beard award-winning chef Michael Solomonov and best-selling cookbook author Adeena Sussman on September 1, 2021 at 8PM EST.
This event will feature not only the ever-popular Solomonov cooking from his kitchen in Philadelphia, but also Adeena Sussman cooking live from her kitchen steps from the Carmel Market in Tel Aviv. Each chef will teach one recipe and will act as the moderator for the other, and they will collaborate on a recipe as well. All recipes will be made available in advance and viewers will be able to ask questions throughout the show.
This event is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Florida’s Gulf Coast and is free of charge to our 60+ Sociable Singles group, as well as Jewish Individuals in their 40’s and 50’s interested in joining the brand new F Troop group with a suggested minimum donation of $54 to our annual campaign in order to help us to continue programs like this in the future.
F Troop community liaison Jaqueline Wertel had this to say, “I am looking forward to meeting others from my generation in the area who want to identify with their Judaism and the cooking class is a great way to start it out right.”
